WHO IS BRIAN MANSFIELD?

Hello my name is Brian Mansfield and I am from Odum, GA. I have decided to build this site to hopefully further my career in motorsports while offering a service to tracks needing help. I have been involved in motorsports all my life from dirt cars to kart racing. As a child my dad would carry me to Waycross Motor Speedway and Golden Isles Speedway as he owned a couple of cars that raced at these tracks. In 1997 I began kart racing on a 1990 Margay Chassis and would continue to race full time until 2003. In 2003 I had the biggest accomplishment in my kart racing career by winning the controlled stock championship in the Florida Karting Association. Also in 2003 Dan Hardy with the WKA Georgia Dirt Divisional contacted offering me a job with the series as head flagman. I would take the job and continue to flag for the series until 2005. Also I was flagman for the WKA Alabama Dirt Divisional in 2004 and 2005. In 2005 I would have my first try at promoting and directing a race with the Ultramax Fall Dirt Shootout, this race would be come a annual event until 2007. In 2006 I decided to jump right into thte fire you might say and started the Georgia Karting Association and it would prove to be a very successful season. In 2007 the World Karting Association would come on board and recognize the GKA as a WKA Divisional Series. Also in 2007 I began working at Hurricane Raceway in Alma, GA where I continue to work today. Some other noteable events that I have worked at are National Indoor Kart Championship-Tunica, MS (Flagman), King of the Concrete-Greensboro, NC (Announcer), Thanksgiving Thunder-Carnesville, GA (Turn Worker), WKA Florida Dirt Divisional (Flagman), and Tri-State Dirt Series (Turn Worker). In 2008 I decided to take a year off and focus on staying closer to home and working at Hurricane Raceway. But now it is 2009 and I am ready to hit the road again. Should your track be in need of a race director, announcer, turn worker, or flagman please feel free to contact me at (912) 294-4192 or bmansfield98@windstream.net for more information. I am avaliable for car racing and kart racing.

I would also like to say thank you to a few people who has helped me out more than words can say. Mr. Carl Williams and the crew at Dexter Raceway, Dan Hardy, Mr. Joe Wright/Ultramax Racing Chassis, Troy Duncan, Donnie Townsend, Mr. Charles Peacock and Family, my dad and family, and last but certainly not least GOD for giving me the oppurtunities he has given me in my life and continues to give me each day.
